About

Tajila Mullahkhel is a self-employed chemical engineer and researcher whose journey spans continents—from early childhood in Afghanistan and Pakistan to academic and professional life in the United States. After arriving as a teen, she earned her Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Utah, where she contributed as a research assistant in biomimetics and taught Pashto courses, blending technical insight with cultural outreach. Professionally, Tajila applied her engineering expertise at Fresenius Medical Care in sustaining engineering and project management, overseeing improvements that support patient care. Now self-employed, she leverages her background in research, engineering processes, and language skills to consult on biotech and engineering projects.
